My creative journey began early on, but I didn’t pursue photography until college, when I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Film from Wayne State University (and I fufilled my electives with as many photography classes as I could). With a background in dance, film, theatre, writing, and visual and digital art, creative pursuits are what fuel my work ethic and make me excited to get out of bed each day.
I have worked with a variety of clients, including brides and grooms, dancers, athletes, government officials, filmmakers, models, families, college graduates, and more. My work in these many areas means that I know how to work well with a lot of different people!
With every project, I am reminded of the power that photography holds — the power to freeze a moment in time, to tell a decades-long story in a brief second, to capture the beauty in someone that they might not see in themselves. Through pursuing this art, I have become more observant, more empathetic, and more curious about what this life can hold. Photography has changed my life for the better, and I know that it can change yours.
